Know what the kit does
Clear observations.
Clear limits.
This is a homeowner observation tool, not an independent building inspection, compliance certificate or assessment of practical completion.
A No issue noticed response does not certify compliance. Concealed work and technical concerns may need a qualified professional. Check visible areas safely and operate fittings normally. Do not climb onto roofs, remove covers or perform invasive tests.
The current kit references the NSW Guide to Standards and Tolerances 2017. Requirements vary by project and jurisdiction. Check your contract, approved documents and applicable requirements. This is not an Australia-wide compliance assessment.
Before you choose
A few useful answers.
Who is this kit for?
Homeowners preparing for a final pre-handover walkthrough with their builder who want to organise visible observations, questions and follow-up. It complements your project documents and any professional advice. It does not determine whether the home has reached practical completion.
Can I use it for more than one home?
Each purchase covers one home's inspection record. It is not a multi-property inspection subscription.
When do my three months start?
From successful payment, not your first walkthrough. Interactive access lasts three calendar months. Your account shows the exact end date, with no automatic renewal.
What happens when access ends?
Online editing ends. You then have 30 days to recover a read-only copy of your saved inspection and photos before that inspection data is deleted. Recovery does not reopen editing or extend access. Download and open your final report before expiry; files already downloaded do not expire.
Does it send the report to my builder?
No. You review and send it yourself. The kit prepares your record but does not confirm message delivery, agreement or acceptance.
Does it replace an independent inspector?
No. Seek appropriate professional advice for technical concerns, concealed work or questions about compliance. The kit helps you organise your own observations.
Can I use paper instead?
The bundle includes a printable checklist and item sheets. Keep paper notes and original photos together. They are not automatically added to the interactive record.
Where can I read the instructions and purchase policies?
The Getting started and help page explains the account workflow, backups and report sharing. Review the terms and conditions and refund policy before purchase. Please also read our privacy information.
